Hakuōki 薄桜鬼 〜新選組奇譚〜, Hakuōki ~Shinsengumi Kitan

Well i got a new interesting anime, not that new, because it was aired on April 4th 2010 and the first season is already done (12 episodes), Hakuouki: Shinsengumi Kitan is an anime based on a PS2 romance adventure otome game (games targeted toward girls). The story start with Yukimura Chizuru who travels from Edo (Tokyo old’s name) to the capital Kyoto (Long time ago main capital of Japan) in search of her missing father Doctor Yukimura, being chase by the Rasetsu (human-demon-like) she end up witnessing a fight between them and the Shinsengumi, due to this she is taken in custody by the Shinsengumi till they think what to do with her, after finding out that Chizuru is the daughter of Doctor Yukimura Kondou same doctor that they searching on, the Shinsengumi then takes Chizuru along on their search after the missing doctor, here is the interesting part (at least for me),the main males characters in this anime are based on real character of Japanese history, members of what in reality was the Shinsengumi (special police force) of the late shogunate period, though they are more anime and manga based in this characters this show is fictional, adding supernatural elements and fictional enemies, it mixes these elements with real events of the history of Japan and THEY ARE ALL HOTTIES, lol! I’m sooo into Saito Hajime in here <3
There is a rumored second season coming out this October, well hoping you like it me off ^^ Ja ne!

xxxHOLiC Rō

HISASHIBURI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yo ho!!

Well Minna here it is the second OAV of xxxHolic, xxxHolic Rō is out as well as the volume 17, this is set to part 10 years after Watanuki-kun takes his part time job, while on the manga only 4 years past, anyway as we all know not all the time they follow the original script, the OAV start for those who doesn’t read the manga, (pay attention IT’S A SPOILER!!! ) with the disappearance of Yuuko in which is not certain if it is a dream of Watanuki or reality, the premier of it was last April 23 of this year, I’m at the moment downloading it so i can’t tell if it is as good as xxxHOLiC Shunmuki was (though they are some comments about this OAV not being as good as expected to be, personally i liked it and to me it was good), but knowing CLAMP hell it will. The trailer features the “Kaza-Nagi” ending theme song by Shikao Suga. Nanase Ohkawa (the scriptwriter and the story creator of the CLAMP manga quartet), director Tsutomu Mizushima (xxxHOLiC, xxxHOLiC: Kei, xxxHOLiC the Movie: A Midsummer Night’s Dream), the animation studio Production I.G are all returning from the previous xxxHOLiC OADs.

New York Anime Festival 2009

OMG!!  I had so much fun today, i’m actually beated up, but since tomorrow i’m going back to Pennsylvania i have to finish uploading the pics, and specially here. Hope you like them = )

I’m super uber happy, next weekend is the annual Anime Festival here in New York and Me is going, HURRAY!!!!

Though i would really love to go with all of you guys, i will do my best to bring the Festival to you,  unfortunally i won’t  do cosplay, like i was dying to, but next year i will hopefully do something for sure, anyway i’m not going alone, my friend Jen and her friend David are going as well, so don’t worry, lol, me in good hands =D (though i can’t tell the same about them… Bwahahahahahahahahahahahahaha *evil smile*) here i leave you the official page of the event.

Sorry that i don’t really post more often here…. I would love to say that i don’t have time, because that in some way would sound like i’m cool and busy, but that’s not the case… >_> Me don’t have a computer T_T or know anyone in the country that i live that has one TT_TT… Anyway, see you next weekend with hopefully a lots of pictures = D

Japan Day at Central Park ^^

Hey people!

To all the Newyorkers and everyone living or just passing by in New York, next Sunday, May 31st is going to be held the Japan day, a whole day commemorating the Japaese culture at Central Park, food, Karate demostration and performance, and totally FREE!!
